quick question. How do you know those 60s were working coal trains from Scunthorpe?

I've seen them go further than that before....

Unless you know the headcode of the train, the only way to make a reasonable guess is by the length of the train - and that's clearly not 'foolproof'. Though I suppose you'd also be able to work it out by the time between passing Barnetby on the down and passing on the way back up!

Good photos though!

Cos saw them 3 times and were sat on scunny so I just presumed :D :lol:

Sat on Scunny? Do you mean Sat at Scuuny? If so, then the 60s were probably on the Ferrybridge circuit.

Anyway, pendant mode over, some nice photos there.
