Why are two standard anytime return tickets offered one about 27 and one about 85 pounds... The cheaper is not via on avantix but there is no indication as to what that means... On national rail the descriptions are identical
Can't see any difference both are standard day returns...

Where do you see the £27 ticket?

There is an SOR at £84.50; there's no SDR though there is an SDS at £52.60. The SSR with a Railcard would be £29.

I am not going to look at all the maps as there are four routeing points which all pass fares check for Canterbury East, two of which are also associated with Canterbury West. Anything along the Coastway routes or Redhill - Tonbridge to Ashford will be permitted.

Also permitted is via Clapham Junction if that is what you are wondering. This opens up vast swathes of SE London between Clapham Junction and Ashford, and between Clapham Junction and Faversham (for Canterbury East).

The +Any Permitted ticket (priced by SouthEastern - here's a surprise ) is a rip-off as anyone can split at Clapham Junction with the Not Via London fare (priced by Southern).
