Man's legs are crushed under tram
A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after falling under a tram in Greater Manchester.
Police said the accident happened at the Interchange on Haymarket Street, Bury, late on Friday night.

The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was taken to Fairfield General Hospital with multiple, serious fractures to both legs.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

Im not sure how that could of Happend :?

One would assume he was struck by the tram, duh! I'm struggling to think how else his legs were crushed. :roll:

So noone thinks how the guy got to be in the path of the tram 'suspicious circumstances'?

Happens in Nottingham too (or has twice). People cross the street right in front of trams, ignoring warning signs, and don't have chance to get onto the platform at the stop before the tram pulls into it.

Manchester I can see it being more worrying...a high floor platform will do damage to more of you than a low floor one.
