Weird one on the Journey Planner.

WM/LNWR only Off Peak and Super Off Peak tickets are £16.85 and £10.55 respectively. Makes sense.

There's then an 'Any Permitted' Super Off Peak single for £22.45 which is showing as available only on WMR/LNWR despite that being a contradiction, and a duplication of the existing.

There's then an Super Off Peak (£34) and Off Peak(£53.50) which are both Any Permitted but only showing as available on VT.

Confused? I am. Surely an Any Permitted (Super) Off Peak ticket without a TOC restriction is valid on all services, and the VT ones also valid on LNWR/WMR despite there being a saving to not using it.

For reference, am inputting an Annual Gold Card but as BHI is outside the area it shouldn't have an effect?

Answers on a postcard please.

BHI is inside the area now but not valid on VT. This is probably what is causing the inconsistencies:

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/Gold Card Dgm Key.pdf

Ignoring Anytimes and via Wycombe as well as SVH/SSH as you are buying a single, your single fares are:
Off Peak Single - Any Permitted - £53.50 (outrageous; you can see why Chiltern are popular!)
Super Off Peak Single - Any Permitted - £34.00
Off Peak Single - WMR/LNR Only - £25.50
Super Off Peak Single - WMR/LNR Only - £16.00

So £22.45 is the £34 discounted, which because of the Gold Card loses its VT validity and so is a bit pointless
£16.85 is £25.50 discounted, while £10.55 is £16 discounted.

The only thing that seems wrong there is the non-discounted fares showing as not valid on LNR. This is probably a bug. Can you post a screenshot?

It's also worth noting that the "Any Permitted" Super Off-Peaks are heavily restricted 7 days a week!

Take a look at http://nre.co.uk/SS for the details.

One other thing to note is that the tickets in question qualify for GroupSave discounts due to the ticket types used (namely SSS and SSR), though applying said discount also restricts their use to Chiltern and London Northwestern/West Midlands Trains services.
