I am planning on doing this next Saturday using the £10 London Midland Easter rail sale. Could you please tell me if via Rugely TV is a valid route? thanks

Yes via Rugeley is a completely valid route from Birmingham - Liverpool and is also is a valid route for this offer.
The London Midland ticket decks will let me book a promotional £10 Off Peak Return via Rugeley no problem.
