The best I can find regarding breaking journey on an Off Peak Day Single ticket is:
Break of journey:
Outward:
A break of journey is permitted unless otherwise indicated by a restriction shown against the ticket's Restriction Code.
However I am puzzled as to where to find any possible Restriction Code while still in the booking process.
Trying to buy tickets for Thetford to Cromer for next Weds, and the choices are Off Peak Day Single or Anytime Day Single. (Incidentally why do they describe it as Day when it's obviously only valid for one journey on a particular day - wouldn't Off Peak Single or Anytime Single suffice?).
We intend to break our journey at Norwich as we can't check into our Cromer hotel until 16:00, but I don't want to buy a ticket that doesn't allow us to leave Norwich Station for a couple of hours. I can't see any restriction code, but when I collect the tickets I might find there is one printed on them. I suppose I could just pay the extra small amount for the Anytime, but it would be interesting to know how to identify whether a ticket has a restriction code before you commit to buying it.
