Bristol Parkway - Paddington

I'm trying to track down tickets for 2 adults (one with a railcard) for Bristol Parkway to London Paddington (although, if it is another London terminal, this wouldn't bother me).

Any ideas on the cheapest tickets? Splitting tickets on the Paddington to Swansea mainline didn't seem to help for me. I'm looking to travel in the week during september and stay a couple of nights. Arriving before 12ish is preferential, but returning in the evening is okay.

Any ideas?
