    Hello,

I've done the first part of my driver assessment yesterday with national express next week will be the driving assessment and interview part.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with national express or any other bus companies during the early stages of the application recently.

    Thanks.

    Dave.

Is it coaches or buses? I've had recent experience with the coaches...

Well done. Interviews in the bus industry are nothing to worry about, normally just go in for a chat with the staff manager. Just brush up on the company details, like where they operate to (you can mention the coaches as well (check the group website)) and things they've done recently (like any new tickets/mobile apps/routes or something) just to show you are observant and interested in the company.

Yes it does, They will put you through the driving school and teach you how to pass a PCV test then once you have passed and get let loose with a service bus then you really start learning!

I can imagine it is so much to take in and constantly learning it must be mentally tiring.

Also be worth whilst doing a bash on days off, so you can be familiar with the routes operated by the depot you're choosing to be based at, if you don't already know the routes.
