The fourth edition of BVE Scene has been published. As usual, it contains the latest updates from BVE Pages.
Our biggest news is that Tyne Valley version 2 has been completed. Sixteen different runs model most of the stopping patterns between Carlisle and Sunderland. Runs include the diverted HST scenario and a railtour, as well as 156 and 142 DMUs. Gradients have been added, including the four-mile long 1 in 107 climb from Wetheral to Brampton Fell.
The route will be published on Saturday 10 October, but BVE Scene readers can view a promotional video that shows screenshots of many of the features on the route, and download a free complementary brief history and guide.
Also with this issue, we're starting a series of "how to" articles, which we're calling The Art of Object Building. Number 1 is the first part of a two-part guide to using the cylinder command. These guides will only be available through BVE Scene.
On the object front, there's a London Routemaster bus; Cliburn Signalbox has been rebuilt; and there's a rubbish skip, storage building and GWR bench. All will be published on Saturday.
Pop over to BVE Scene to read all the details and don't forget to visit BVE Pages on Saturday for the latest route and object downloads.
