I was going by the info on post #200 that 306 was already there. Maybe the OP got it wrongApart from 306 that is still on the Nene.

Presumably the 387/3s have to be on lease to GTR to allow the work currently underway at Hornsey, with the 387/2s currently in use north of London not needed south of London until 12 September. So Thameslink now been paying for them for 8 weeks, and if all not in service yet then reason isn’t clear to me.

2 have already returned to GatEx, so 5 more will return South over the coming weeks. Apparently one is to stay to support GN services and the introduction of the ex-c2c and GWR 387s. Another path to Lovers Walk is below:Presumably the 387/3s have to be on lease to GTR to allow the work currently underway at Hornsey, with the 387/2s currently in use north of London not needed south of London until 12 September.
26 June to 12 September gives the time needed to get them ready for GTR's usage - ie they don't work straight 'out of the box'.

Sorry my mistake. I'd been thinking it was a week later. Why 12 September - thought timetable was changing on Sunday 4 September?
Does anybody know which ones have already gone back, please??2 have already returned to GatEx
202 is one of them.Does anybody know which ones have already gone back, please??
203 returned to Lovers Walk on the morning of the 15th & is currently awaiting a test run.202 is one of them.
As do 207 and 208…203 returned to Lovers Walk on the morning of the 15th & is currently awaiting a test run.
201, 204 & 205 remain at Hornsey Depot
The 20:09 it was working terminated at Ely vice Kings LynnHere is 387304 at King’s Cross before working 20:09 to King’s Lynn
Image shows 387304 in platform 8 at London Kings Cross with an LNER class 800 in platform 7
Doesn't it usually? I think a second Liverpool St to King's Lynn service used to run in its path north, but not since 2020.The 20:09 it was working terminated at Ely vice Kings Lynn
This pair also worked 1T10, 07.40 Kings Cross (KGX) to Kings Lynn (KLN). Following RTT they appear to have worked the diagram - 1T26 09.46 KLN - KGX, 1T28 12.12 KGX - ELY, terminating short at Cambridge due late running, 1T35 13.53 ELY - KGX starting Cambridge, 1T42 15.42 KGX - KLN, 1T53 17.40 KLN - KGX and 1T60 20.09 from KGX, as per 43102EMR's post. RTT shows 1T10 as formed by 1P83, 06.05 from Peterborough (PBO), so did 387303 and 387304 work one of last night's KGX - PBO services?
387303/304 in service on GN today, noted on 0641 KLN-KGX & 0910 KGX-ELY306 currently at Peterborough.
It will be - 303 and 304 were the first two last week. This just leaves 305 and 306 left to enter service.387301 and 387302 are out on 1T14 08:42 KGX-KLN. Not sure if this is their first day in service with GTR.
All I know is 201’s the /2 staying long-term with GN - not sure about the others.Which 387/2s are still north of the Thames please? I know 387202/3/4/8 have all left Hornsey, but have all the others gone back south yet?
