Looking at lists and I need 3 of the above for sight 15213 regularly in service 15311 also regularly in service just not on the rake I see when I am off. The one that I can’t seem to locate despite various searches on different groups/forums is 15326 and seems to be missing, does anyone know its location and current status the last one I found for it was in August 2023 !!!

Hopefully I’ve put this in the correct place but mods feel free to relocate if I haven’t

Kind Regards

Tony

I’ve not seen 15326 for sight since April 2022 and regularly make an effort to see the stock at Euston every time I’m in the smoke.

15326 is one of the ones stopped for crack repairs.

Several of the other stopped ones have been back out in service in recent months, so it may not be too far away coming back...

15213 is, I think, one of the other stopped ones.

Useful - thank you.

It's one of only four of their fleet that I haven't got for the ride... and I note that you list 15213 in the same rake; that's one of the other three I need...

Wikipedia shows 75 British Rail mk5 (CAF) coaches were built for the Caledonian Sleeper. With 4 trains running each night with a maximum of 16 coaches each (64 each night), does this mean there are at least 11 not used each night? By not used, I mean not used in revenue service. I assume they undergo maintenance.

There are also the two coaches (lounge + seated car) added/removed at Edinburgh to/from the Fort William portion. That would make 9 spares.

Forgot about those. Does anyone have a list showing the quantities and types on carriages built?
