Does anyone on here know how the secondary dooerlocking on mk2 coaches is communicated from one vehicle to the next? Is it through the TDM jumpers? Thanks.

You mean the RCH jumper cables, mk2s dont have TDM cables, but yes I do believe they use a spare wire on the existing cables.

Sorry, yes, I did mean the RCH (Railway Clearing House) jumpers, TDM (Time-division multiplexing) is a method of transmitting the data for locomotive control through the RCH jumpers.

I am currently working as a contractor on vehicles which have the panel for operating SDL (secondary door locking) but the TDM systems have been removed. I was trying to find out if the two are inter-dependant, i.e. will the CDL controls still work through the RCH jumpers?

I knew what you meant which is the main thing. ;)
The two systems should not interact because I think the TDM signals were sent over the lighting circuit.
Good luck with your fault finding.
