The name is quite self-explanatory, but what exactly is this 'Mainline Hybrid' train that has arrived in the new Chiltern October timetable? ...Many thanks!

As far as I can tell, "Mainline Hybrid" means formed partly of 168s and partly of 165s. So there's some "Mainline" accommodation, but it doesn't make up the whole train.
I'd hazard a guess that it'll be one that's formed of one or more 168s and a 172. Unlikely to involve a 165 as they're limited to 75mph.
Slightly related, are any 168/3s in use from tomorrow (today)?
I didn't notice any this morning.
There may be a few more hybrids for a short period without the 168/3s out.

Sometimes we also run
hybrid trains, which are
formed of both Mainline
and Commuter carriages.
If you want the great
features of a Mainline
train, make sure you
board the grey carriages.

Yes, they were out in passenger service yesterday and today.
We have 168322, 168325 and 168329 out today. 168324 is in for post delivery checks, etc. at Aylesbury.
