I haven't done that since the first time. Whilst I admire the healthcare staff, I would rather people dedicate their time to sending a message to the government to get their fingers out & get those staff the equipment they need. Its a sorry situation when a 99 year old gentleman has to walk around his garden, and crowdfunding & other charity efforts be made to raise funds for what should be happening via No 11 Downing Street.
A friend of mine was given the shaming treatment over the Easter weekend for not turning out on her building's communal hallway to clap last week. In response she pointed out to her somewhat judgmental neighbor that for that entire Thursday evening she'd be working hard to help orchestrate NHS responses for certain parts of the country. Not a peep more was heard..
