314205 on 1036 Glasgow to Newton today.
314202 spotted at Platform 7 in Central.
It has been pointed out on another site that Yoker - Crewe paths on Tuesday and Thursday have appeared on RTT. As the 365s have all been returned south it seems this move is 314 related.
Today's working shown as cancelled.
Tomorrow's movement seems to be cancelled too as the loco move from Leicester to Mossend isn’t running.
Loco running from Crewe instead: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O31395/2019/08/14/advanced
Didn’t spot that, thanks!
Loco has made it to Yoker but hasn’t left for Crewe yet.
Failed it’s inspections - not in good enough condition for future use some units were being eyed up for.
Whatever the move is left Yoker for Crewe at 1049, over 2 and a half hours late.
Did we ever establish what that projected future use might have been?
I know LO was rumoured, but I never quite grasped the logic of why they would take such a unit when they are already sending similar units off-lease for scrap, units which are outwardly better in having had more done to them over the years and already having the correct branding et cetera.
Having said that, it would have been interesting from an enthusiast perspective to see a die-hard Scottish unit working in London!
37884 and 314211 currently 144 min late at Whifflet
I may pop down to Acton Bridge after work and see it pass through there if it's not gone through too early - will give my car a run given I hardly use it and school hols mean slightly lighter traffic!
Keep your eye on RTT, http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/K00095/2019/08/15/advanced the 144 late has turned to 38 early approaching Gretna, couple of extended stops in loops have been avoided
Thanks. It can be a bit early; in fact that'll help with my evening plans somewhat. But I suspect it'll have to roughly stick to the schedule south of Preston since the line is much busier.
Just gone past Morecambe South Junc. 116 mins early.
116 early approaching Lancaster
Just seen your post as I posted
Hmm it's making cracking progress so far but may yet get stopped at Warrington. Does show how much leeway these moves have though. Same with Portbury to Crewe/Manchester TPE deliveries - not uncommon to leave Bristol an hour or two down but make up all time by the Midlands and be early north of Stafford.
Looks like it might possibly be heading to Newport tomorrow - http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/K00096/2019/08/16/advanced
37884 and 314211 sitting on track A between platform 3&4 at Carlisle this afternoon
Another Yoker - Crewe path in for tomorrow;
Light loco is on its way to Yoker now.
Does anyone know the current status of 203? I haven't seen it out in service for a while unlike 202, 205, 209, 210, 214 and 216.
Will be Rail Operations Group Class 37, passed Crewe Railcam 18:50.
Path is now in for the corresponding move to Simsgroup (Newport) on Friday: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/K02944/2019/08/23/advanced
Wonder how many other units will have travelled through three UK countries within 24 hours ... apart from Virgin 221s ???
Do we know which unit is heading south?
9:36am 314207 drag from yoker heading south.
Covered in Grafitti!
