Seen on flickr, it looks like 319363 and 319374 have been sent to Long Marston from Allerton yesterday (37800 dragged them).
Is long marston for storage or mods?
Thanks, this has been updated.57301 hauling 319362 & 319373 Allerton to Long Marston today

Yes 319373 may have gone but 319372 lives on noted at Blackpool North yesterday on a service to Manchester Airport. Thanks, this has been updated.
So at last 319373 bites the dust!
319379 was still in service at Blackpool North on Tuesday. Why are so many going off lease? If my maths hasn’t failed me that’s nine Northern 319/3s off lease now! Why so many at this time? The West Midlands Railway 323s are a long way off yet and I don’t see m(any) 331s on the tracks up Manchester way.
Would anyone be able to please tell me if 319379 is soon to be off leased as well? It’s my only required one of the subclass for haulage.
The January edition of Railway Magazine reports 319004 as being sent for scrap at Wards of Ilkeston.
Maybe replacements have been found, e.g. the off-lease 365s or even 707s (can be converted to AC) when SWR replace them. Why are so many going off lease? scrapped already or planned to be?!The January edition of Railway Magazine reports 319004 as being sent for scrap at Wards of Ilkeston.
They decided to retain and gain Class 323's and remove their 319'sThe 319s are increasingly unreliable. It's even been remarked upon in PTE reports (TfGM are one) in the last 6 months. Northern are looking to hasten their exit. There should be sufficient 331s to cover them as a result of canned electrification schemes since they were ordered in 2015.
any idea till when37884 hauled another pair of Northern 319s off to Long Marston today; 319380 & 319377 were the units in question.
Is it one of the sets that didn't receive PRM modifications?Any report on the reason for scrapping this particular unit? AFAIK several other 319/0s are being converted to Class 769 spec.
What do you mean?any idea till when
Sorry I should of been clearer,What do you mean?
They are now off lease and are not coming back
Well that’s what the list on Page 1 of this thread is for . The answer to how long they’ll be there for is unknown, depends if another operator wants them. This year some of them would have been there for three years!Sorry I should of been clearer,
How long will they be at marston for, and how many are there is there a way I can check?
I have now added the list of Northern Class 319's still in service on to the list on Page 1 since they're now departing the fleet
CorrectedIn post #1 319364/71/80 are shown as being still with Northern but 319364/71 are given in #1088 as having departed 10/12/19. 319380 is given in #1102 as having departed 7/1/20.
Conversely 319378 is shown as having gone, but it's not been recorded in any post that it has, so I suspect that 319378 and 319380 have been confused.
