To put it simply:
First Great Eastern was Liverpool St to Ipswich slow trains and branch lines south of Ipswich off the GEML.
Anglia Railways was Liverpool St to Norwich fast trains and branch lines north of Ipswich off the GEML.
Glad you enjoyed itLots of things should have happened sooner, but they haven’t for well documented reasons outside the immediate control of Greater Anglia. Many of the early build units kept in store now need quite a bit of work before GA will be prepared to accept them.
Pre Anglia Railways, Norwich was of course BR Inter-City and part of the Gatwick Express 'sector'
They’ll waste no time in getting rid of the next sets when they arrive at Sims on Friday

I passed Ilford depot today and saw at least 3 northern bins stabled. Could these be 321902 and 322482-3?

They're either in service or stored at Clacton (I'm guessing)

483 484 485 still in Service was Today Wednesday 17th August 2022.
On Ipswich and Colchester Town services.
However as op points above the x3 at Ilford E.M.U.D must be.
321902 322482 for scrap. With 321903 either for scrap or spare available.
321901-903,when new were a step change from the loved 307s that 9 out of 10 needed assistance withe 91s and mk4 leeds bound shove or a push to Doncaster if that ever happened,but glad I seen 321901on arrival at sims as it was one I had for most mileage,and second drove that once in passenger service,r.i.p dusty bins

The class 307s were the worst GE units, I suffered them, nobody liked them. They often stalled on Brentwood bank and needed a shove and were the oldest most uncomfortable train I've been on.

322 483 and 322 484 are both in service today. 483 about to work 1Y10 and 484 about to work 1N16 from Liverpool Street

In some ways it's a shame that the West Yorkshire Transport Museum aka Transperience at Low Moor wasn't a success. A driving car from one of the Metro 321/9s would have been a nice additional exhibit there.

I think both 483 and 484 end up in Colchester carriage sidings tonight
Given that tomorrow is a strike day with a few GA services running, what are the chances of them coming out to play tomorrow?

322483 is on 1N57. I assume it will will work one more working to Clacton, then ECS to a depot and withdrawn?

5Q86 1119 Ilford E.M.U.D to Newport Docks Simms around 35 late through and stopped at Bristol Parkway with 37800 proudly promoting on the side a Cross City Birmingham line 93, 323 sticker in which the 323s have on the side for Cross City line nostalgia due to 730 replacement hauling 321902 and 322482 for scrap. However 321902 and 322482 now for scrap at Newport.
Sadly another era is ending on the ex Northern and Anglia 321 units.
However 37800 does look good with the Cross City line 93 323 Sticker on it.

Colchester C.S.D (along with 484) according to RTT. If it's not out tomorrow, guess the pair will couple up and move to Ilford or Clacton
