Can anyone help with identifying which trains are most likely to be allocated to Class 380's at this time?

Glasgow - Ayr, Largs and Ardrossan Harbour are guaranteed 380

Glasgow - Gourock/Wemyss Bay is a current mix of 318/320/380 and 385

Most Neilston services should be 380 operated, with 318s/320 in the peak.

Glasgow - Newton & Cathcart Circle may have a 380 on

Glasgow - Edinburgh via Carstairs is a 380/385 split

Glasgow - Edinburgh via Shotts also has a booked 380.

Class 380s don’t work those routes, those are 318/320 with a single 334 diagram thrown in to keep Motherwell drivers traction knowledge. Class 380s are concentrated mainly on services from Central high level and can be seen on all routes from there.

380s are certainly cleared around that area as we seen in the Commonwealth Games with some 380 operated Rutherglen - Garscadden shuttles.

But as snooker said, 380s are concentrated out of Central High Level.

What Glasgow to Edinburgh services via Carstairs are 385s?

A 385 tends to come in off shields in the afternoon for the Carstairs service, presumably to help deal with the peak flow out of Edinburgh.
