68008 & 68009 are the spares so they should be at Wembley for the time a silver cat needs to leave.

Have some of the train services been slightly retimed. For example, I though the morning service from MYB to BMO was at 1015, but it shows at 1010 now?

The Chiltern timetable is changing on October 25th - these are the revised times.

Can I just double check I've got this right?

For travel tomorrow; the 68s are the 10.15 and 10.45 off Marylebone, both of which call at Solihull?

From the 26th onwards they become the 09.40 and 10.10 off Marylebone, both of which call at Solihull?

...and in both cases I could get a third 68 in for the day by returning on the 15.55 off Moor Street?

Won't have time to go out again after getting back off the 15.55, but thanks - knowing I have the first bit right is good; first 68 mission so all three are guaranteed to be fresh. :)

If not,can somebody advise a cheaper way of getting the cl68 for haulage please.

It depends if you are after milage or just getting them for haulage. For the latter I would suggest a West Midlands Day Ranger or Day Tripper (valid from Kidderminster/Stourbridge to Leamington)

I know there is one that starts from Banbury up towards Birmingham.
I was hoping there would be one that starts nearer London.

Unfortunately the only rover I can think from Marylebone is an All Line Rover and isn't worth it for just that.

Well.. I only got two on Monday; the 10.45 was a 168 instead... fortunately I was advised of that before wasting any time so I stayed on the 10.15 through to Moor Street.

Most silver set services are first stop Banbury, the only rover valid Banbury - MYB is the all line.

Heart of England covers you at the other end though, valid down to Banbury from the north. Connections are a bit tight on a couple of the moves, but they all made when I tried it.
An ordinary west midlands daytripper isn't valid to Leamington (that's why Jed bails at Solihull), but you can buy an add-on to it that does make it valid to Leamington. Look on the network west midlands website for details. EDIT It's called Network Daytripper Adult Plus and costs £8.90

You wouldn't need to go to that extreme; there is always the option of a Banbury to London Terminals season, but yes at £135.30 for the week there really is no point.
How about Advance Purchase tickets, if you don't mind losing the flexibility?

If you were going to go down the season route then for only £5.90 more at £141 you could have the Marylebone to Moor Street weekly season...

Probably the most effective way to bash the 68s on a day mission is surely to pre-purchase 3 or 4 cheap day returns on one of the shorter sections like Banbury to Leamington Spa or Leamington Spa to Solihull - that should be enough tickets to make all the moves you need in a day without breaking the bank. Just make sure your journey totals don't exceed the number of tickets in each direction.
