I wonder if this Wimbledon Park Depot to Derby Litchurch Lane working will run today. In Realtime Trains the working is not marked as 'not yet activated'. - https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C22739/2020-10-07/detailed
Well, usually, and I use that term loosely, once it's activated the from/to dates get replaced with the actual date. But as always, best just to keep an eye on them.
I'm guessing 002 will have to go back to Derby at some point for completion of its build. Although as I say, it was in two halves an hour or two ago!

That 5Q25 path is just the return for the barriers no? It's there every weekday and is timed to depart a bit more than an hour after the delivery run would arrive (the exception being Monday, where the 5Q25 path exists but the delivery path doesn't!)

I think from previous threads that when you see “activated at hh:mm”, and that time is exactly 2 hours before departure from origin, it often means it’s been auto activated, whether intended to run or not?

You know what, I very nearly added that to my post, you're quite right, I spotted that myself some time ago. That said, I've regularly seen it activated purposely, and still not run. Even sometimes see a VSTP put in last minute and not run.
A good indicator in the case of hauled runs I find, is the previous arrival of the light loco.

Now shows cancelled. Few times this has happened now, not sure what's up.
Strange they sent one to worksop though. Mind you, how much room is there for them at Eastleigh?

there’s at least 3 units on the juiced part of the Arriva depot and some in Arlington.

They'll need to find elsewhere soon, when that space runs out. What with training not started yet, Feltham yard not ready, etc. With them not officially swr's responsibility yet, who pays for storage in these various other locations such as worksop?

Feltham yard will be in use very soon, I heard the reception road is being officially signalled in next month or so?

Saw the convoy pass through Basingstoke today - again, with the cab door of the 701 open but no-one in the cab. Does anyone know why they operate like this?

That's the third one I've seen like that, no idea why, but it can't be weather related as it was peeing down today!
Also noticed it has the whole unit number on the front, rather than just the last 3 digits. (Think 006 is the same too)
