On Friday 05.07.24 5Q94 0534 Derby Lit to Long Marston ran, presumably a 730 ? Can anyone confirm what it actually was. Thanks.

Just boarded a very new smelling 730029 on a Tring-Euston service.

I had 730029 paired with 730036 today on 0740 Tring-Euston. 730029's first day in service. 36 different 730's now worked -33 of which on the west coast

I recall that is one that was being used in Birmingham. And was on Willesden shed 12/06/2024.

So 730040 has been moving around a bit !. Hope others do.

Seems Willesden has the job of commissioning the 730/0s, they then go to Bletchley for use in service before moving on to Soho. I know originally it was because Soho had no capacity and the WCML 319s were on (beyond) their last legs. But Willesden also seemed to get 720s for commissioning (or finishing) but not the 710s !.

Apparently 5Q94 0534 Derby to Long Marston and 5Q65 0946 Long Marston to Oxley ran on 05.07.24 But I can find no information regarding what was conveyed on these moves - presumably Class 730s, do you (or anyone else) know what was moved please ?
