Well I did wonder about that, but the current route avoids the site of Seaham Harbour station - so I think it would have been correct either way.

The recently mentioned station of Horden Peterlee is the name to be carried by the new station of that name soon, but the name of the closed station is Horden, which is quite a distance away from the site of the new station.
