We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 756 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Durham Elvet
It follows the line of the NER Durham to Sunderland Line
It then follows the line of the NER Durham Coast Line
It then follows the line of the Middlesbrough and Redcar Railway...via Warrenby Halt
It then follows the line of the Cleveland Railway
It then follows the line of the Whitby, Redcar and Middlesbrough Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Scarborough and Whitby Railway
It then follows the line of the Y&NMR Scarborough to York Line
It then follows the line of the Y&NMR Yorkshire Wolds Coast Line
It then follows the line of the NER Driffield to Selby Line
It then follows the line of the Great Northern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Boston, Sleaford and Midland Counties Railway
It then follows the line of the Bourne and Sleaford Railway
It then follows the line of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Peterborough, Wisbech and Sutton Bridge Railway
It then follows the line of the Lincolnshire Loop Line
It then follows the line of the GNR Bardney to Louth Line
It then follows the line of the East Lincolnshire Railway...via the Mablethorpe loop line
It then follows the line of the Kirkstead and Little Steeping Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Coningsby

The first closed station on this journey is Durham Elvet

INFORMATION

The recently mentioned station of Horden Peterlee is the name to be carried by the new station of that name soon, but the name of the closed station is Horden, which is quite a distance away from the site of the new station.
