It would have to be the station on the main running line, as we are heading towards the Great Western Railway Main Line....not taking the Bath Branch.
We would, I believe, have traversed both Mangotsfield stations. The first was on the route to Birmingham just north of the North Junction and south of the bridge which carried what is now the B4465, the second at the western apex of the triangular junction with platforms on the B&GR main line and the Bath Branch.

Up to the 2015/2016 time period, the two stations at Mangotsfield that you mention above were used as posting submissions of legs involving the Bristol and Gloucester Railway, then a number of quiz contributors who were active on this quiz at that time insisted that, for reasons mentioned in PM discussions, that only one mention of Mangotsfield be used in future, with the result that then became the status quo.
