Could train and bus operators be forced to take tougher action against sexual harassment?

I have interesting to know why you and many people believe that block the viewing of pornography on public transport can really help female safely, in my opinion it is the most useless part. What about violent content, especially with female in it? Many classic 18+ thrillers have shots of killing women, should ban people watching on public place? What about body painting like La Fornarina by Raphael and La maja desnuda by Francisco Goya?
Because porn is primarily watched for sexual arousal and sexual gratification. It is inappropriate to intentionally arouse oneself or sexually gratify oneself in a public place and can make people feel justifiably uncomfortable. In contrast horror films are watched for the thrill of the fright which is not inappropriate for a public place. Indeed many public places designed for families work on exactly the same principle (for example theme parks)

Similarly with art if youre primary purpose of going to an art gallery is for your own sexual arousal or gratification then there is something quite disturbing about that.

Exactly how prevalent is sexual abuse on the railways, and what form does it take? On most of my commuting journeys, social intercourse is very limited and I think in all my ten plus years of commuting, I have only ever known of one incident where a woman was allowed to move into first class away from the nuisance, which is probably the most effective way to tackle this problem, unless the harassment was taking place in first class in the first place.

I would assume the on-train WiFi blocks it, but then TPE WiFi also blocks this site, and all other fora I frequent. As a result, I use 4G when travelling on the train so there's no reason the "dirty mac" types won't either if their allowance is generous enough.

No idea why Transpennine would want to block railforums.co.uk. I now know the plural of forum.

I am actually amazed that anyone would have the audacity to start looking at pornography in the middle of the train, it is not as if the carriages have side corridors and compartments anymore. Cannot speak for anyone else but when I go by train, I just want to enjoy the journey and the scenery outside rather than watch some rampant sorts on a tablet or laptop. I can see why people might want to seek alternative distraction on a journey by night but there is a time and place.

When on TPE this site comes up with a message saying "blocked.reason:forum" (the exact phrasing might be different).

I too can't get my head around those who watch porn in public, perhaps the very act of it being in public adds to the thrill for those people? But then, I can't understand the desire to have sexual activity with a person who isn't up for it either.
