I recieved the same email also. But have already filled out the online assessment details form so I am thinking that emails have crossed.
I have received an email to say due to a high volume of applicants to allow 2 weeks for the team to process the applications

Well, just did the online assessment as well...

Had an invite to take an online RAAT test, good luck everyone!

IIs

If I get past this I'm interested to find out if I have to do all the psychometric testing again, only just passed it a few months ago... I'm no glutton also is it just the RAAT test to take or any more tests?

what depot are you going for but also is it just the RAAT test to take or any more tests?

Just received the same Email - in which case I'm wondering if they'll be collating both RAAT results and cover letters to determine whether to invite to DMI.

Hope everyone's had a great Xmas!

How many questions are there to complete in the RAAT? I’ve just finished mine an unsure how far through I got.

The email came from [email protected], Thu last week
I got the same email yesterday.
Am asking my self if its even possible to answer the 34 questions in 22 minutes?

Can I ask how people have been notified of the RAAT test. I applied on the 8th and got the email yesterday stating the 2 week extension.

I as of yet have had no link or email for the RAAT when applied just the confirmation email.
yep I recieved login details for my RAAT and completed and submitted today, I found it challenging.

It's definitely possible, I managed to complete all 34 with a minute to spare - set yourself a timer for 22 mins before you start it, since it doesn't show one, you can keep track of how you're doing this way - there are 11 sets of text to read and answer questions for, which means 2 minutes per set of 3 questions (or 4 questions in the case of one of them).

Welcome!

None of us are quite sure - but last time XC recruited they went straight from the online tests/shortlisting to Driver Manager Interviews - so with any luck the next stage should be an interview.

If successful in interview candidates then get to go on and do the psychometric testing.

I don’t know what is regarded as good, but most Trainee TD positions are intensely competitive

I can’t imagine they’ll be looking for anything less than mid twenties possibly even higher

It’ll probably also depend on other applicants scores. If 30 applicants get 34/34 correct, I’m guessing they’ll be going through to next round lol

Hi all, new to the forum. Long time lurker, just completed my RAAT, didn't find it too much. Well, will find out when I get the results... practicing the group bourdon, now that's grim. Anyone had any results yet?

Ah the group bourbon, I actually think it's one of the nicer tests in the psychometrics to be honest, at least compared to the glop test and tones tests... practice 100% makes it easier, hopefully you've already found this online one I'm linking below, it's very accurate (even down to the dot positioning!) to the real test:

Any idea how to work the scores out with this?

Ah well….shall have to see what happens in the New Year now…gutted at the moment though.
Was doing the RAAT test and my Google Chrome done a forced close and auto update that only gave me 5mins warning during the test with no option to snooze/delay the update. Still had around 4-5mins on the test and was on target to complete ‍♂. Even more stomach churning wait now

Hello everyone… I have a question if someone can help me .. what tests exactly will we need to prepare if we get a chance to go to the physiometric tests? I am currently preparing the bourdon test … what are the names of the other ones?

If you search on this rail forums site you can find descriptions of all the tests.

I practiced the group bourdon - you can print pages of it off google but didn’t practice any of the others.

These tests aren’t designed so you can practice your way to a pass. You can either do them or you can’t. Hence the two chances only at doing them. Even though at the time the tests may seem odd, they are all relevant to the job.

Anyone here already passed the Psychometrics? Did mine 3 years ago. Do XC recognise them up to 5 years?
Passed mine 18 months ago

I know RSSB hold them for 5 years. A lot of TOC’s accept up to 3 years. But I don’t know about XC policy specifically

Have you checked other threads on this forum??
