What sort of action?
Nothing announced that I can see?

Ah, that explains it then.Cross Country only action.
Enjoy! I am heading down to sunny devon.I am hoping to catch the HST to Glasgow tomorrow.
The overtime ban does not effect the HST's. Full strikes like the Saturdays after will mean no HST's out.Thinking of doing an out-and-back to Plymouth on Saturday 12th August. I can see there is an overtime strike that day ... is that likely to effect the usage of an HST on these diagrams? Cheers
Going by the 29th of Aug, a reduced service will be in operation none of which were/are likely to be HSTs.There is industrial action for Cross Country on Saturdays 19th August and the following 3 Saturdays. Any idea if Cross Country will be running any services?

Will be none on the Saturday's but should be out on other days.I’m on holiday in Devon from the 29th to the 1st, so does that mean that no XC HSTs will be in use between those dates?
i got as far as Dawlish - a combination of worsening weather and delays meant the Dawlish > Plymouth > Birmingham part of my trip got truncated.Managed to take the XC HST to Glasgow Central. Likely my last time.
While I'm very sorry that happened, and I'd be furious to be kicked off a train I'd boarded for a nice long farewell ride (as I was on a 175 the other day), I hope you made the most of being stuck in Dawlish even so. Loveliest town in Britain, I think!i got as far as Dawlish - a combination of worsening weather and delays meant the Dawlish > Plymouth > Birmingham part of my trip got truncated.
technically I was on the last train OUT of Dawlish before the problems. I was stuck at Exeter and Bristol in the end! It is a nice little town and while the weather the was nice it was a lovely walk. While I'm very sorry that happened, and I'd be furious to be kicked off a train I'd boarded for a nice long farewell ride (as I was on a 175 the other day), I hope you made the most of being stuck in Dawlish even so. Should beDoes anyone have the HST diagrams for this Sunday please?
Is it the usual Sunday diagram or is it effected by engineering works?
NoneThis may be a little early, but does anyone know what the HST/HST's are planned to work on Sunday 17th September?
43366 + XC05 + 43378 now expected to operate 1E6343357 + XC02 + 43304 has been delayed en route to York (due to a train fault) and will run as 5G50 York to Neville Hill today.
1V50 (1Z50) and 1E63 will be run as a Voyager for today.
I believe it’s coach F, although I tend to go for the Seatfrog upgrade. Plymouth to Glasgow for £20 extra isn’t too bad in my eyes!Could someone please remind me which coach (or coaches) are 'Unreserved' on XC 125 sets ?

It is, indeed, coach F, same as with the Voyagers. Recent experience of the HST sets is that the reservations system has been a little iffy, with coach G not showing any at all and the occasional apology for a lack of reservations being announced.I believe it’s coach F, although I tend to go for the Seatfrog upgrade.
