Sunday and Bank Holiday Service 856 from Northallerton to Leyburn and Hawes - The Wensleydale Flyer http://www.dalesbus.org/856.html - is under threat yet again. Support for the Crowdfunding initiative (details attached) would be appreciated

the ultimate "crowd funding" scheme would be a crowd of passengers demonstrating demand for the service by using it.

Really glad to hear of a community initiative to keep the service.

But surely the best practice would be to find a new way of making the service sustainable in the next 12 months?

Although I'll probably never have cause to use it, great news.

On a more flippant note, I posted somewhere a while back that if London dual-door deckers continued with the decrease in lower floor seats then stairlifts might be needed to get older passengers upstairs.
