CT4N are making sweeping changes to their service 866 (Sutton Bonington to Loughborough) from next Monday, with the route number being contracted to just 66 and a new, more frequent timetable with nine journeys a day in each direction instead of the previous four.

From Monday 28th October 2024, its all change as Service 866 becomes Route 66.

Working in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, a new timetable will be introduced providing more journeys between Sutton Bonington and Loughborough Monday to Saturday.

Route 66 will provide connections to shopping, markets, doctors and onward journeys from Loughborough, so a perfect opportunity to join us on board.

Departures from Sutton Bonington to Loughborough

07:10, 07:50, 09:30, 10:30, 11:30, 14:20, 15:20, 16:25, 17:25

I noticed today that 1013 (K14 CTN) was tracking on bustimes on the 510 which Nottinghamshire County Council Fleet Services used to run as their 510 ECOnnect going beeston-stapleford via toton tram park and ride and after researching found on CT4N website of the new service commencing linked below.

From seeing this I was just curious, why do some routes CT4N do such as the route 66 loughborough-sutton bonnington or the 510 not have timetables or route maps on bustimes like other operators.

If you look at CT4N on Bustimes. Click on routes and the ones you mention do not appear. Click on the licence and again they don't show. That suggests the data link is broken. Maybe it requires an update that has not yet been loaded.. Is it done via BODS open data or others. You actually see similar on Marshalls of Sutton on Trent where their 37 tracks but their 38 does not.

Because they are an operator who doesn't want to comply with the open data laws sadly.

This is what they supply to the government, and it's this data that Bustimes shows.

Got sold off or scrapped, I believe. Early electric buses unfortunately don't seem to be known for their longevity.

A couple of the 12-plate former Centrelink Solos got sold to a random operator, but I'm not sure what's become of them.

I think most of the BYDs remain with CT4N, although only two have ever tracked on Bustimes, one of which has been sold off.

CT4N still use init machines on most of the BYDs which don't track, it's only 987 (ex EMG shuttle) that has a ticketer machine and therefore tracks on bustimes

I think some of the BYDs with a lime front still work around the QMC. Two red ones down at East Midlands Gateway.

I was at Queen's Drive park and ride site today. Noted 8 BYDs there. Two in the blue livery and 6 in Medilink livery. A couple of Solos, four ex Nottingham East Lancs Scania double deckers and Optare Versa 1001.

Does anyone know what is going on with ct4n,they seem unable to run a full service on all their routes and are going to ballot for striking.

Perhaps biting off too much they can chew, they've taken on a lot recently, and had a period of being a really great company, but it seems to be going downhill somewhat...

Which services aren't running?
