Yes.I think Clan Line won by a short head, although that may be down to experience. She’s much more familiar with the route than Tornado.

Thanks for the video - do the new escalators run faster than older models? (Just an impression from near the start of your video.)

Apparently not. Escalators on London Underground travel at a standard 0.75 m/sec on a standard 30° incline.
Escalators in the new Elizabeth line stations will travel at a speed of 0.75 metres per second, with the exception of Canary Wharf where 9 of the 17 escalators travel at 0.65 metres per second due to a lower Escalator rise and available space for installation.
