The video starts At High Weald with D9516 arriving with a train from Coopersale. Next we see the class 20s also from Coopersale. Then D2170 joins the action.
Class 47 No. 47635 "Jimmy Milne" is then seen arriving with a train from Ongar.
A brief glimpse of one of the vintage shuttle buses from Epping concludes the visit to Ongar.
Moving out into the country I went to Blake Hall where we see Class 31 No. 31438 passing the old station (now a private house) with a train for Ongar.
D7639 is then seen with a train in the opposite direction.
Moving onto Ongar we seethe two Class 20s again and 31438 awaiting its next turn of duty.
Class 47 No. 47635 is then seen arriving.
The final shot is at Marconi bridge near North Weald.
Regettably 37029 was unable to take part in this gala event, as repairs to the turbo have unfortunately not been completed in time.

Autumn Diesel Gala, Epping Ongar Railway, 22nd September 2023.

Bath Spa via Surrey Hills, 34046 Braunton, 27th September 2023.
Filmed at Thatcham and Bradford-on-Avon.
a somewhat circuitous route but Braunton was on top form.
Spectacular whistle through Bradford-on-Avon:

Whilst visiting the Epping Ongar Railway I paid a visit to St. Andrews Church, Greensted, Essex.
The oldest wooden Church in the World, and the oldest ‘Stave Built’ timber building in Europe.
The church represents some 1300 years of English history and Christian worship.
A short video (Maybe of interest, maybe not!):

Express Train to Lincoln, 7029 Clun Castle, 7th October 2023.
A rare sight of a "Castle" at Kings Cross.
Also filmed the opening of the level crossing at Swinderby, don’t often get to see that in North London!
Filmed at Spalding and Swinderby:

Crossness Pumping Station, 22nd October 2023.
A Victorian Cathedral of ironwork.
Crossness Pumping Station is a former sewage pumping station designed by the Metropoiitan Board of Work’s chief engineer Sir Joseph Bazalgette and architect Charles Henry Driver. It is located at Crossness Sewage Treatment Works, at the eastern end of the Southern Outfall Sewer and the Ridgeway path in the London Borough of Bexley. Constructed between 1859 and 1865 by William Webster as part of Bazalgette's redevelopment of the London sewerage system, it features spectacular ornamental cast ironwork.

Also includes footage of the Rang miniature railway.
(The Royal Arsenal Narrow Gauge Railway).

Missed my first location (Swale) because the M25 was closed due to an accident but managed to get Bahamas at Adisham and Charing:

Stanier Black 5s in Action, 2011- 2023.
The Black Five was a mixed-traffic loco, "a do-anything go-anywhere" type, designed by William Stanier.
842 were eventually constructed.

Most Heritage Railways seem to do a "Train of Lights" over the Christmas season so I thought I’d pay a visit to my local Heritage Railway to video their version:

35028 Clan Line, Loaded Test Run, 22nd April 2024.
Filmed going slowly through Paddock Wood.
According to RTT she was supposed to be on the up main but, judging by the amount of rust on the track, the line has been out of use for several days.
Great to see her back where she belongs.
