Deltic to haul freight over West Highland Line

Just spotted this - tomorrow's 1513 departure from Fort William aluminium works to Lynemouth (empty tanks) is due to be hauled by 55 022 Royal Scots Grey as far as Mossend Yard.

There's also going to be a feature on the loco on BBC Breakfast tomorrow, 3 minutes at 6.50, 7.50 and 8.50.

The hire ended the other week, the Deltic came up to Bo'ness on the 18th and is there for the tour to Kyle (last Sat) and the thrash-extravaganza to Thurso on the 19th. She only went up to do 6E45 because it was the Driver's birthday (and that is the truth!)
