My Windows Vista Desktop.




Windows Vista Info.
Memory Use on empty desktop = 470MB
Boot Time = 2 Minutes 47 Seconds
Reaction = Slow
Rating = 2/10

Pro - Newest version of Windows, new features, nice interface
Cons - Slow, Sluggish, Not very responsive
Other thoughts - Why Microsoft, Why make our computers run slower than what they can perform at in Windows XP!

Blimey I thought you would have known. It's a corruption of "I thank you" as tram conductors used to say it when collectiing fares. They'd go round the car say eye-thang-yow in broad cockney but it all came out as one word "Eyethangyow"

I think that's because Windows Vista is designed for newer, more powerful computers and runs slow on Gareth's PC because it's not got the capabilities to run it at a decent speed with his specs.

Of course I could be wrong.. but that's just my understanding of it..

Anyway I've changed my desktop so here it is;

360204 (with Hexflyer in the driver's seat) with 332004 at Paddington

AMD Sempron 64 3100+ - 1024MB PC3200 Memory - 15GB Partition - nVidia 6600GT

That's same spec as your Biostar Custom Built PC like the one in your sig.

It is, I use Microsoft Virtual PC 2004. Ill post my LINUX desktop in a bit. Thats right! I also have LINUX!
