I have been spat at in my face before today and also been punched by a young person and never retaliated in any other way as doing my job has detailed in its desciption.


I've also dealt with young people pushing for arguments just like you are doing now?

I'm a project worker, supporting young vulnerable people with many issues, who by the way challenge you just as bad as any situation I could come across as a on board csa!

I have done door supervision for many a year and trust me I've dealt with plenty of people in the correct manner as the job requires never once has my integrity come into question! I think and hope that's my mental health dealt with.



I've also dealt with young people pushing for arguments just like you are doing now? So bait not taken today thank you! so reel in your line as nothing on the hook mate!

OP was a question I asked about a situation I was telling the truth about so my friend I have no reason to tell porkys about me not taking any more Steroids!

If you would like me to start another thread on how to handle heated situations in an experienced way then that's fine we can do that if you wish!

In fact my companies policy and procedure involving this was updated and has a nice section that was actually written after I had been asked to advise on it!


One could actuly turn this round and say it seems to be you who is getting a bit tetchy but I won't!!

Clip I think in my OP and any following comment you should find I at any stage have not informed you why I used Steriods, recreational or medicinal so please don't just assume because I'm sure just assuming can get you in bother in your industry.

You have posted on an open forum and do not appear to like what other people have said regarding your use of steroids. Well, thats life I am afraid. People will always not tell you what you want to hear and my original post still stands - your wife wouldve been able to give you much better advice by getting it from the horses mouth - her occy health people. I think what you will find from some of us is severe caution from any advice from someone who comes on here and states that they have used Class C drugs for recreation purposes only and not for any medicinal purpose.

This raises concerns for not only their own safety but for those on the railquestionay as a whole, both stand somebodyff and passengers. Yes threatening tite have to take on face value that the OP has said he wont be taking them again but as we dont know them, their nature or demeanor - and it comes across as very VERY tetchy when challenged or spoken to on some issues just through the words typed on here - then we still have to err on the side of caution.

A note about his tetchyness, my comment about asking his wife about the information and calling her she, which is harmless, got a barrage back and I was accused of being rude. I was not.

So in this one instance I have to come to the conclusion that the OP seems quite adept to misunderstand things and takes offence with quite some ease. If this is the case then a CSA role is not going to be for them given the amount of abuse that is intentionally hurled at them from time to time by the travelling pubic. If an outburst such as that on here, what will they be like in a face to face situation that gets heated very quickly?


It doesnt matter what role you take on in the railway be that a cleaner, driver or even and MD - safety comes first and foremost. If you think that is wrong, then maybe the railway isnt for you.

How would she know about steroids unless she had taken them herself and CSAs don't have access to OHT's to ask them such questions. Let me ask you a question. If you are in a bar and somebody keeps bugging you and threatening you etc would you tell them to F#c% off? I would but I can assure you I would never speak to any of my passengers in that way no matter what they did. The point I'm making is we all act differently at work and at the moment the poster is not at work and is being patronized and verbally character assassinated by you and a few other so of course he will react. Stop behaving like a silly schoolgirl and grow up. I also agree that alcohol consumption among railway employees is potentially as dangerous

Clip I know what happens on a forum and the "sort of life story" was a valid response to what you were insinuating.

I don't mind what people have been saying but I have just responded in my defence! And just wanted a simple question to be answered. I respect all their comment they are entitled to freedom of speech. But I have no respect for yours because when I pointed out I would prefer you to not refer to my wife as she but could you say my wife you became quite rude with your next response.


To be honest I don't care what you think and you don't deserve my time, but what I will say is this: I notice you put "your wife" with no other smart remark like she, so Well done Clip for adjusting your rudeness from previous comments.

It shows you could have done that previously.

Just to really clear things up about the steroids, I have only used one course and it was for a personal reason. And the steroids I used were I believe fast acting and so are out of my system. The expert at the pump clinic informed me that the effects are gone. Although there could still be a trace on a test.

So my mind set at this time is not dealing with effects of steroids,my annoyance is just having to talk to you!

I also notice you only comment on what suits you. I comment on everything wether I like it or not.

Now I don't want to assume anything so I won't. But please if your going to attack my state of mind through your comments then at least make sure they are correct. We have spoke about this before haven't we Clip, assuming. Or had the assuming comment slipped clips mind!

Now unless your saving some comments for a rainy day or your getting off by attacking me, normally I would accommodate, but to be honest I'm quite bored of you so goodnight.

You patronize me by saying " maybe the railway is not for you" when, as I say, I have been on the railway for over 3 years now.

My comment re the bar was an analogy to try and make you look at things from a non railway perspective which I'm now thinking might be difficult. I don't think it was stupid and my little schoolgirl dig was a rhetorical patronisation not sure of that's a word but couldn't really give a toss!

Clip please refer to #24 the very bottom line. I asked you in a very friendly manner another simple question for you to answer. Your sarcastic rude answer came in #40. This seems to be on the turn around now clip, you seem to becoming very defensive when you feel your being attacked Of course you will say you otherwise and say you don't feel attacked.

Still no reference to clip assuming but reference to everything else. So I will just remind you of it shall I. Please refer to #57
