That a suprise, it didn't last long at FalconThought I'd share these pictures I took this evening of East Yorkshire LF71 DKV having been repainted by Meridan Coachworks in York and looking rather stunning!

Someone mentioned to me it was 735 although they could be mistaken.805 has been in body shop with an unidentified Gemini, possibly 755 though I have been unable to confirm, in paint shop
If it's a write off, where will they source a replacement bus from, somewhere else in Go North East or place an order for a new bus?Someone mentioned to me it was 735 although they could be mistaken.
Any idea if 929 will be a write-off following the really bad accident last week
No it isn't a write off from what I've heardSomeone mentioned to me it was 735 although they could be mistaken.

Any idea if 809 is going in to standard livery? It would be an OCD headache if 804/5/6/7/9 are in 121 branding and 808 isn’t805 has gone to Meridian for repaint. 755 is now out of paint shop with 739 and 809 currently being worked on.
I'm not sure at the moment, they have only just started 809, though given 816 is the Eastrider spare I would guess standard liveryAny idea if 809 is going in to standard livery? It would be an OCD headache if 804/5/6/7/9 are in 121 branding and 808 isn’t
That is a good question, I don't know but will see what I can find out.On the topic of the Eastrider branding, when it's decided to select an existing vehicle in the overall bus fleet to go into the branding, how long on average does it take to retrofit the next stop announcement system into the vehicle?
Thanks for the reply. Fingers crossed they do 808 and not 809 or Brid based 815I'm not sure at the moment, they have only just started 809, though given 816 is the Eastrider spare I would guess standard livery
Good to know. I thought from the initial pictures it looked quite bad. Hopefully the driver is okay now too.929 has returned from accident repair
As the 07s and 08s are being reliveried at whatever cost, makes you wonder how long they intend to keep them on the road, and hence how long it will be before the fleet starts becoming fully electric.741 is in body shop with 740 in paint shop. This just leaves 732/3/5/6/8 still to do of the 08 Geminis. Painter Les Taylor has retired after 43 years working for EY
I believe the 07s and 08s are intended for replacement in about 4-5 years time. I can't see us getting electric buses until the depot in Hull has moved. As the 07s and 08s are being reliveried at whatever cost, makes you wonder how long they intend to keep them on the road, and hence how long it will be before the fleet starts becoming fully electric.
Has he been replaced do you know? Proper brush painters are a dying breed...741 is in body shop with 740 in paint shop. This just leaves 732/3/5/6/8 still to do of the 08 Geminis. Painter Les Taylor has retired after 43 years working for EY
I imagine he will get replaced though whether anyone has yet been appointed I'm not sureHas he been replaced do you know? Proper brush painters are a dying breed...
Yeah I know what you mean, I don't know why they bothered repainting them when they got rid of them a short time laterI've just returned from seeing family in Clacton-On-Sea. It was very strange to see East Yorkshire Enviro 200's in deepest Essex.
