The Humber Fastcat bus is in being repainted into fleet livery at the moment. The 8 E400MMCs and Levantes that were due will now be coming later this year for obvious reasons.
Looking at the comments on Twitter these buses will be branded for the X46 hence the different livery.Having seen a tweet about the arrival of the new MMCs tonight from Martijn Gilbert, I have to say I’m very impressed. A very smart new livery (it’s nice to see the silly wavy lines have gone) and a smart new interior.
Apparently inspired from X-Lines.Looking at the comments on Twitter these buses will be branded for the X46 hence the different livery.

Someone has spotted one out on a training run, fully vinyled up

WOW! I wasn't expecting to see this in Beverley! And to think I was not pleased with having to book it to Beverley once again in the first place - forget that, here comes a brand-new bus out of nowhere! And here finally, you can get a good view of the front end and all its new livery decals...www.flickr.com
If you catch more than one, you’ll be EastRiding...EastRider.... Must've taken hours of hothouse brainstorming to think that one up.
Bedum tish!If you catch more than one, you’ll be EastRiding...
There'll still be some Evosetis on the 45/46, can't really use anything older on a regular basis as all buses in York are supposed to be Euro 6 nowLooks like 922-926 are branded for York to Hull with 922-925 based at Hull, and 926 based at Pocklington
927 & 928 are branded York to Bridlington and both based at Pocklington
This means half of the 45/46 will still be older vehicles
929 will also be based at Brid for the 45, leaving just one older vehicle on the route, nominally an Evo Seti.Looks like 922-926 are branded for York to Hull with 922-925 based at Hull, and 926 based at Pocklington

New management wanted to speed the service up to Goole from Hull and put more buses into Gilberdyke to encourage more bus use there. When previous management changed the x55 in 2017 it killed demand in Gilberdyke and HowdenAlmost a 30 min saving from the previous X55 to the new X5. It sounds like an interesting and ambitious change to the region. Good luck to them.
The X5 will also be operated by a coach.East Yorkshire are making some service changes in January. The main changes are the x55 and 155 being replaced by the x5 and 55, the 76 and 77 being replaced by the x7 and changes to the 151, 152 and 153. Evosetis 798-803 are undergoing interior refurbishment for the x7. The x5 and x7 are in the EastRider branding. I'm told the intention is to revamp the Hornsea services 240 and 246 this year as well.
It will indeed, one of the Levantes that has come off NX workThe X5 will also be operated by a coach.
I believe 929 has gone to Plaxtons for repair.929 involved in a fairly serious accident yesterday just outside of Bridlington. From what I can see of the photos it’s a third party fault but imagine this may be off the road for a fair time.
Also appears 922 has temporarily been allocated to Pocklington
Also appears that EY have given up council tendered services 21, 50 and 51 from the end of this month.
For Stagecoach to take on the 50 and 51 they will need the use of smaller MMCs surely than what they currently have?I believe 929 has gone to Plaxtons for repair.
The 21, 50 and 51 have been taken on by Stagecoach.
Yes they will need smaller buses, presumably they will transfer them from elsewhere. For Stagecoach to take on the 50 and 51 they will need the use of smaller MMCs surely than what they currently have?
Word is that the 5 Levantes that were meant to come for NX work have been cancelled.
