Anyone know what’s causing the disruption on the ECML between Doncaster - Leeds today?

Major Overhead wires problems between Wakefield and Doncaster coupled with trespass near Newcastle means a bad start to the day for the northern part of the ECML
Some trains appear to be doing just that. Whether they are Azumas or HST I can't say.Why can't Azumas run on diesel power on a diversionary route?

I booked the 1103 from King's Cross which was supposed to be an Azuma but that is cancelled

The Askern Branch is blocked this weekend with all (instead of the usual some) GC trains booked via Hare Park/Adwick.GC have also cancelled services, even though they are diesel, and indeed only reach the electrified section of line just north of Doncaster.
What did XC do with their hourly service via Wakefield and Leeds? Did they go direct Sheffield - Doncaster - York?
Apparently the line has reopened, but I'm inky going by word of mouth
Edit: it has
This wasn’t an issue with the infrastructure per se, rather something else bringing it down...When the ECML wires are replaced after damage , do the NR engineers upgrade so that section of wires will be more robust in the future?
It would be a missed opportunity to simply replace like with like on an installation that is known to be easily damaged.
No, it was the NR test train. There's a photo going around on Facebook currently of a bright yellow door tangled in the OLE. Looks as though it opened and caused the damage and was subsequently ripped off the train.More than likely it was this - the train you linked would have been class 73 or 97 hauled:

As that’s now been leaked (lovely job whoever that was ), I can now confirm that the NR test train was the instigator in this incident due to human error, and a Colas-hired 73 was the unit involved. No, it was the NR test train. I don’t have TRUST to hand, but judging from the pictures in the email, I’d say it was a Class 37.class 37 surely?
