you say you undestand common sence then why on earth would you drink alcohol on a platform and wavearound like fools thats sounds like chav behaviour to me, in one of the vids someone is actually off the end of the platform and in the cess, you call yourself enthusiast's, you are setting a bad example to other people and you should all be aware of that.

I can tell you from experience that if there is no yellow line - there is almost always some form of guidance.

At Starcross it is most certainly the paving slabs.

Train companies are only part of the railway. The stations are owned by Network Rail.
If you'd of done that behaviour without cameras, you'd of been reported as common youths causing a nuisance and someone, quite possibly the local field manager, would of been sent to investigate.
I think excuses like "There was no yellow line" are pathetic and so would the FM, especially as you claim you are not Chav's, but enthusiasts
"Valeg will continue with meets." Well, that's not illegal, but allow me to offer my condolences in advance to the poor driver that maims or kills one of you idiots.

I have also herd from the Valeg Owner that he would like to invite people to the next meet which is next Saturday (29th) at Northallerton to proove what Valeg is all about and that he wishes to make note to those who believe that the members that join, can be proffesional and have regular debates over information on the meets.

This will be a good opportunity to see what Valeg is about and that they are not "chavs"

They ARE like you and make themselves known of what they support.

My own opinion of the meets if for those who enjoy trains alot, who can make valid points about TOC's and their operations. They are people that do enjoy themselves alot, and know that they do have another side to them.

They welcome new people, and enjoy what they have to say about their interest.

If the meets are growing, then its obvious that there is something for every enthusiast to experience with them.

I have joined to talk about info on tocs, and such like, as u would do here.

I suggest you take a look at the video "deltic matt vs his excitement" available at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=t3rHNc2_b9M

Not really much of a good advert for him is it?

HSTEG failed (but was pretty much reborn without him) - he has petty arguments about Valentas and MTUs. MTUs are quite honestly the way forward.

Makes me wanna laugh, not the best video of him, was taken a long time ago by the looks of it.

And yes you are correct, matt was showing the flag to mtu's.

Is getting excited about trains flying through an offence?

Screaming expletives at trains is downright disorderly and I'd say could most likely be a breach of the public order act.

He is religous about valenta's, hmm how can i explain?

Its like his brother to him, and cant see them being killed by a foreign make.

And the language isnt needed.

Im a person who has loved trains because of what my uncle showed me when i was young.

My uncle is a popular train photographer named Martin Bray.

Ever since when i was 9 i liked them, i liked riding on them i liked making vids out of them, i liked learning about the companys and debating issues about it.

yeh well im very tired

and what is so bad about the MTU, when they will enable us to use the HST for longer.. i know they might not have the same sound, but i'd rather have a MTU HST than a Meridian/Voyager

Valenta's aren't being destroyed by a foreign make - they're quite simply reaching the end of their working life and was to be expected whatever. He'll probably move onto MTUs next and do the same when HST2 comes into service.

FWIW, Valenta's are on pretty much most naval ships AFAIK.....

One point.

I love 442s. I worshipped them - I was disgusted by the 444 introduction on the Bournemouth line.

I didn't go around swearing at the replacements and recording it on video though did I? Sure, I don't like them - but I won't lower myself to that ....

Yeah and same here too, i do like the wessex electrics, i live near them too, matt is matt and he will always be that way. Anyway i was tipsy on that meet which isnt like me since im on medication.

I dont like the 377s much at all, but have never lowered myself as u call it. I liked the slam doors and was a shame to see them go.

Hopefully Southern will get these 442s for Brighton!
