It was in the press that the epping-Ongar preserved line had a special event that got them into hot water.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/new...ter-porn-film-is-shot-at-vintage-railway.html

A vintage railway operator has been branded "disgusting" after allowing a hardcore porn film to be shot on its historic train track.
Parents have slammed the decision to allow American adult film company, Brazzers, to shoot a 28-minute film on the Epping Ongar Railway - a heritage railway in Essex.
Just what were they thinking of.:(:(

A film viewed by 235000 people and national press attention. Not sure about suggestions for the theme for the next steam gala though.

Maybe a virgin voyager visiting for the diesel weekend...

;););)

I thought they we're having a musical event when it mentioned a swingers evening later on in the summer.:oops:

I won't be giving a knee-jerk reaction to this. Will watch the whole film and make up my own mind.

Is this actually serious? I assumed it was an April Fool...

I really can't see what the fuss is about - it's not like it was filmed when the public were around, and I'm sure the railway got a decent income for allowing the filming to take place. This comment amused me, I wonder if she doesn't let the kids into her bedroom at home?

"As a mother, I would be reluctant to take my kids on there again knowing that has gone on.
"I think it's disgusting."

It's hardly something new - one loco owner does an 'adult' calendar with a female posing on/around the loco, and I know another site was used for some 'glamour' type modelling a few years ago.

Rumour has it that half of those people who watched it were just trying to get the numbers of the carriages involved.

Yes, it's definitely serious, I won't post any links on here, but I can assure you the 'film' is real ;)

I'm in agreement with theblackwatch, it's just a way for the railway to bring in some extra money, although perhaps they were a little naive if they didn't expect some disquiet from certain quarters.

Once this storm in teacup has settled down, hopefully the EOR will get plenty of visitors for the diesel gala in just over two weeks time.

This pretty much, it was a source of extra revenue. It was filmed privately and not on a public operating day so I really don't see what the big deal is.

So do those same 'horrified' parents ever stay in hotels - imagine their reaction if they knew what went on in their very beds before them!

Sounds like a lot of puritanical bellyaching from the Mary Whitehouse brigade.

Hope they manage to get the stains out of the moquette though

I agree with this. I just can't see what the fuss is at all.

LOL Epping Ongar railway. I hope they charged a high price. Harmless form of generating revenue to help continue operations. Thanks to all those who's saved this line from disappearing for good, well done. Personally I remember LUL pulling the plug & thought it would be gone forever. Had a great day out there just after new year :)

You didn't get a cameo in the movie did you?. (Only kidding).

Lot of fuss about nothing. Would the parents stop using the hotels that let rooms out to the same industry. Just hope they deep cleaned afterwards.

Not even the sight of a fluffer :(
Agreed, it's usually a hotel room these directors use (don't tell that woman with the kids, she'll never stay away from home again) although it's certainly not a first using a railway carriage. Not that I watch this sort of entertainment honestly, just going from what I'm told :/
Good advertising for Epping Ongar railway though lol

Yes i remember the old LU operation well having been bought up in Epping and only living in Harlow now.

I also have had good days out there and am glad after a lot of teething troubles they have got the operation viable.

Personally i think they need something which they will probably not get permisssion for IE access to Epping station for a connection to the main line trains from London.

I do see the film as quite harmless but if you know the area well as i do its got a lot of the "angry of mayfair" brigade here as kenny Everett might say.:D

Not seen the film though could only find a few stills.:oops::oops::)

To be honest I think LUL should pull out all the stops to create interchange. Haven't been to Epping station for a few years so can't comment on platform configurations but surely it's possible (at a cost no doubt the problem ).
Can't believe it's 20 odd years since LUL closure. Still remember those new Central Line Trains like yesterday & those stickers covering up North Weald & Ongar stations from the stick maps wiping them away :(
I can't understand these people too! Don't watch it & don't tell the kids about it & they'll never know, simple!
Oh & if you've got a link to the film please share, I don't want to watch it but my mum says she does <D

is there a link available? :D:D

Before anyone gets any ideas let me just be a spoil sport and bring the rules out from their dusty corner (you know those rules you all read when you joined?):

General Rules
Appropriate
  • Please ensure your contributions are suitable for the wide age range we have as forum members. We have a duty to ensure that offensive material has no place on this forum, and that content remains family friendly.

Now I'm not expert but I rather suspect that this particular film will not fit the description of 'family friendly' so lets not be linking to it on the forum... ;)

If you wish to find it there are many search engines available that I'm sure will eventually lead you to it!

Makes you wonder how these parents became parents if such things disgust them.
Close your eyes and think of England!

Some would be surprised at how many stately homes and small businesses are rented out for adult movie productions. Better not shop local or visit Snoddington Hall just in case. <D

Had a very quick glimpse using fast forward. Part of the "action" seems to be a "lady" trying unsuccessfully to eat a rather strange type of sausage.........
