Why are the HNRC class 37s going to the Heritage Centre? Aren't HNRC going to send something to collect them? Also, when are 37424/425 getting picked up?Ex DRS examples 37422/37716/37419 are in Crewe Horse Landing Sidings currently, presumably temporarily as these have not been purchased by LSL (Harry Needle got these iirc). I have heard on the grapevine that these may be moved to the Heritage Centre tomorrow, but this is to be confirmed.
Two remaining 37s are still at Gresty Bridge, one is 425 and the other is 424 (37558).
Okay thanksHNRC Cant send locos as they arent an Operator, just a rolling stock Owner/Leaser. So they need to arrange with Colas (who they work closely with for 37 related stuff) to move them.
424 and 425 also will be a while, as again, the company who have purchased them arent a mainline operator.
If i had to guess 424 and 425 would likely move by road to wherever meteor power is located (Burton i think with 37207?)
37207 was at Dudley but now at Great central Railway being looked after by the Heavy Tractor Group I understand. No idea if that is permanent or temporary.HNRC Cant send locos as they arent an Operator, just a rolling stock Owner/Leaser. What do you mean?37424/37425 to Harry Needle
What do you mean?
Okay, will they go in the convoy on Tuesday?Reported on WNXX that Meteor Power have failed to complete the purchase so the locos are expected to go to the next highest bidder, which is HNRC

Okay thanks37409 now appears to be coupled to 37419/716/422 in the Horse Landing so expect that to be the LSL loco involved.
is that all the DRS 37s with new homes then?37409 now appears to be coupled to 37419/716/422 in the Horse Landing so expect that to be the LSL loco involved.

Good to see, they’re all still being used aren’t they?It appears so. Useful locos that have had a lot of money spent on them in some cases so it's not surprising they've been snapped up.

Update on the new europhoenix class 37s:Not sure whether Europhoenix should have a thread of their own as they now hold a fright operator licence, anyway, here is yesterdays updated list from WNXX regarding their Class 37 fleet
069 at Leicester LIP awaiting wheelsets
218 at Leicester LIP awaiting mainline tests
407 at Crewe Coal Yard awaiting release from DRS
423 at Leicester LIP awaiting mainline tests
Has 37069 has its wheelsets replaced now?Update on the new europhoenix class 37s:
069 at Leicester LIP awaiting mainline tests (I think)
218 at Derby R.T.C and mainline operational with europhoenix
407 at Derby R.T.C and mainline operational with europhoenix
423 at Leicester LIP awaiting mainline tests
I can confirm they areHello, does anyone know if 37407 and 37218 are running the 5H64 from Derby R.T.C (Network Rail) to Donnington Rft tomorrow?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you very much!I can confirm they are
Okay brilliantwe should soon see 37218 in ROG livery as 218 is now on long term lease to ROG.
If either of 069 and 423 are leased to ROG the livery will be applied to them as well. 407 will retain its BR blue livery for now and is also on long term lease to ROG.
