Had a loss of power but was able to restart and get going.
It also had issues with a cab door which is why it was heading to Crewe for repair in the first place.

Appears that decision was made very late on and the set made it to Canton by 01:30.

Due to the incident there was a major shortage of 197s at Canton so as well as having the Mk4 off Crewe preventing it being overloaded it got 2 197s to Cardiff for services this morning.

HD05 is still planned to swap out after arrival at Canton at 16:00 with the 16:49 Manchester a unit.

Tomorrow should finally see 4 full diagrams back.

HD01 is expected back tomorrow, it is planned to start the day on 6:27 from Manchester with 67017 then swap to 67014 for the evening Holyhead, as a result of that swap when HD05 arrives on 08:30 from Manchester it will go back out in the 12:49 from Cardiff.

*67010 (coolent leak) on HD04
67015 (fuel leak)
HD07 with no loco
67017 HD01 arrived back from Test on 5Z02 from Shrewsbury.

Not a good day for 67s on Crewe depot.

*DB Cargo came and had a look at 67010 but couldn't find where the coolent leak was coming from.

Believe the Marches had some problems earlier today, believed to be a tree falling, resulting in HD05 losing around 30 minutes between Abergavenny and Newport, unsure about the other sets and how they're doing.

I think it’s some of the coaches to the potential ‘HD08’

Extra MK4s as part of the set, HD08, which is to be looked at to see if it's serviceable.

12434 isn’t in HD07.
12461 is in HD06.

That post says it would be going in HD04! The sets were always planned to be reformed with the original TO inserted which they were.
All 7 sets have the 5th car added and have all been in that Formation for a while now.

67015+HD04 should be out on a test run tomorrow after the sets heavy exam and 015s failure last week.

HD01 has now stopped for its heavier B exam, also losing its loco with 67014 moving to HD07.
Quite a few minor exams and loco exams have been done over the weekens so all of HD02-07 should be available for service this week.

AFAIK it's still "paused". Nor heard ant other dates, never aay never bit wouldn't be surprised If it ends up at the December timetable change.

Reported as brakes on 1J76 at
Stockport / Cheadle last night
Service cancelled eventually left
Just after midnight on 5T76 ECS to Crewe.

The first date I can see on RTT is the 9th of September, since the first week of September shows the North services as standard only and South bound as Standard and First, so I'm unsure about it. But the one with all First and Standard seating is the 9th. So potentially then. Might be wrong though..
