That would be the base timetable loaded. So, a trial timetable day?
With a 40mph Linespeed.75mph on the longest straight stretch in Devon......
That's the timing load, that service won't be hitting anywhere near 75mph at any point. It says planned 75mph maximum, using any from cl 150, 153, 155 or 156.
The first link says it runs throughout the timetable period? So, a trial timetable day?
Hmm, the paths do not seem to include a Sampford Courtenay call. Is that likely to be the final plan?Just noticed this path in RTT for 2K03 Exeter central - Okehampton

No idea, but the downhill average speed of 45mph to Crediton and the tight turnrounds at Okehampton suggest there is no margin for one ATM.Hmm, the paths do not seem to include a Sampford Courtenay call. Is that likely to be the final plan?
For the May TT period? Yes.Hmm, the paths do not seem to include a Sampford Courtenay call. Is that likely to be the final plan?

Long-term, I hope North Tawton gets reopened, too.My understanding is that Sampford Courtenay platform requires work to bring it up to standard, which is not currently included in the route infrastructure enhancements.
It won’t necessarily be the 16th of May. The paths are in the timetable from that date as it is the changeover date nationally, but the actual service may not commence until a later date aligned with works completion and sufficient driver training undertaken. They’ll probably be redated shortly or cancelled off weekly by short-term planning amendment until the actual start date, similar to how station reopenings are initially planned to align with timetable change dates and then amended to come online from the actual opening date in practice.Having just skimmed through RTT, looks like the first services booked are on the 16th May:
Which is why they were planned to go to central! If the majority of the services (including the morning and evening peak services) had not gone through to Exeter Central they might as well have not bothered to reopen it.
Thank goodness the siren voices calling for them to terminate at the St Davids Bay Platform 2 for reasons of operational convenience were not listened to.Which is why they were planned to go to central!
Sampford Courtenay officially mothballed then?
Yes, I’m aware of what it was. I’m asking if it’s going to be mothballed for good.It was only ever a summer Sunday seasonal station with no lighting etc.
and a mobile home estate with not much possibility of development unlike Yeoford. North Tawton and Bow have very limited potential. It was only ever a summer Sunday seasonal station with no lighting et
If you follow the real-time trains links provided earlier you’ll find they’re additional and GWR services. Are these 159 SWR extensions or "new" use of GWR 150's ( or what ever?)
