I am surprised not to see Vimto in the poll, but there again perhaps not, because it is said that Vimto drinkers are not very good with anagrams!

Out of that list, I'd really just drink Irn Bru and maybe the odd Coca-Cola, some of the others are just way too sweet tasting for me.

I really like Old Jamaica ginger beer and decent tonic water (prefer it with gin though )....

Drinking Irn Bru in Wales at the moment, and I can confirm that the good old girder taste is as strong as ever.

Forget that "Lowland ****water" real Scots drink Moray Cup - even with the rehashed politically correct label :p

Irn Bru :D Also better if in the Glass bottles of course.

If not Irn Bru then 7UP/ Pepsi. Annoyingly my local co-op no longer sells the 500ml bottles for Irn Bru only the 2L ones.

I have the opposite problem...

My favourite soft drink is Irn Bru and I was disappointed one day when I enquirer why it was 39p a 2L bottle that it was being discontinued. (Apparently I was the only regular purchaser and they could tell when I was home from University as sales rocketed). I enquired how many bottles they had in the back to be told two pallets. A few minutes later and they kindly let me borrow a pallet truck to wheel them down the road to my house. it's good being on good terms with your local shop!

I drink Vimto + sparkling water almost every day (not the pre-carbonated Vimto stuff shops sell).

None of those listed in the poll.

When I do have a fizzy drink, more often than not it is a lemonade, no slice, no ice - and it has to be R White's or Schweppes.

Water, cold milk.
I now need to avoid sugary fizzy drinks, but I always preferred fresh apple / orange / pineapple juices, which I now need to dilute .

Only tried cola once, and could not comprehend why other people like it - I found it repulsive.

I can't be the only one that likes Mountain Dew?!

Nope, I absolutely love the stuff! Such an underrated drink in my opinion.

I'm a bit picky with my soft drinks. Coke I prefer to Pepsi when drinking as part of a meal but Pepsi I prefer as a drink to quench thirst. The ultimate Coca-Cola would be that out of a glass bottle. It really does taste good but it's increasingly hard to find if not served from behind a bar.

As for lemonade, with a meal I much prefer R Whites to Schweppes. Same goes if it is on tap. R Whites lemonade on tap is great. Sprite and 7UP are also good whilst on the go. For an ultimate shandy, it would be a 50/50 Sprite/Fosters mix, or an R Whites/Coors Light mix. :D

Lucozade is my favourite but only the energy drinks, specifically original, pink lemonade (particularly the zero calories version), Brazilian and the much missed apple and lemon flavours. I don't like Lucozade Sport.

Otherwise, it's Tizer and Coke. Not Pepsi though and I don't get the love-in for that drink; to me, the taste is considerably inferior to Coke.

I love that pink lucozade.

I'm another Pepsi disliked. Coca Cola, or strangely lidl cola I quite like.

I have come to appreciate the new 7up mojito flavour that's come out recently. I grow mint in the garden so grab some mint leaves (and wash them) and add them to the 7up and ice and it's a refreshingly cool drink
