Hi.

A Sandy to Peterborough of peak return is £10.00 today. In May, the same ticket was £8.50. Have FCC really imposed an 18% price hike here, or am I missing something that should be obvious?

Is the cheapest fare for this shot journey really a tenner now?

The off peak return from St Neots to Peterborough, a journey of 6miles less each way, is a mere £6.00. Can I expect that FCC will shortly 'iron out' this 'anomaly'?

The £10 fare is correct. Off Peak returns are not regulated fares
Some confusion here.

Yes, the Off-Peak Day Return (CDR) Sandy - Peterborough was £8.50 in National Fares Manual NFM 08 (Jan - May 2011) and has increased to £10.00 in National Fares Manual NFM 09 (May - Sep 2011).

Off-Peak Day returns are not regulated fares. The regulated fare for Sandy - Peterborough is the £11.00 Anytime Day Return (SDR).

But many Off-Peak returns (SVR) are regulated fares.
