thanks, they will be in a bad way once the 2600s retire, them and the 2800s are brilliant little trains along with the 2900s even if their extremely uncomfortable having had all bar the 2600s on the rosslare line at some stage but i can't fault their reliabilityBoth the 26's and 28's are maintained in Limerick. Allocation sees the 26's based in Cork and the 28's based out of Limerick (Limerick/Ennis/Galway, Limerick/Junction, Limerick/Nenagh/Bally). The 26's need to travel to Limerick for maintenance. From time to time it can happen that a 26 is unavailable, so Limerick dispatch a 28 instead. Likewise, a 26 has been noted on some Limerick based services from time to time.
