The 6 has badly needed the extra capacity. The reliability of the 6 can lead to gaps and then the E300s are often standing.Good to see the E400 low heights back in Glasgow and back on the 6, which they are intended for.

Horrid buses to travel on44456 entered service yesterday, was able to catch it today.
Also I want to state that 44457 hasn’t entered service yet, as it’s ticket machine was being used for an E200EV for two days.
’It’ doesn’t really have a ticket machine. ETM’s can be moved between buses and the associated fleet number easily changed by scrolling through the menu (this can be a driver or supervisor function depending on set-up)44456 entered service yesterday, was able to catch it today.

I remember these were on the sunday 31 for a short while around 7 years ago.Horrid buses to travel on
I thought Glasgow’s Ex-London batch arrived in 2022 and entered service in 2023? With the former Welsh ones arriving just at the start of this year.I remember these were on the sunday 31 for a short while around 7 years ago.
These weren't here 7 years ago, they where bought end of 2021 and sat around until Spring 2022I remember these were on the sunday 31 for a short while around 7 years ago.

Perhaps the ex Berkshire ones? These weren't here 7 years ago, they where bought end of 2021 and sat around until Spring 2022
There was ones new in 2009 for Lanarkshire services then shifted away quick. A few came back to caley. These weren't here 7 years ago, they where bought end of 2021 and sat around until Spring 2022
There's only 2 of that batch here and one is in Dumbarton and one in Blantyre, they're a different length to the ones that are ex London United. There was ones new in 2009 for Lanarkshire services then shifted away quick. A few came back to caley.
Was at Dumbarton. Pretty sure it’s just been sat at Caley for a bit now in the new livery. There's only 2 of that batch here and one is in Dumbarton and one in Blantyre, they're a different length to the ones that are ex London United.
What type of bus is that?Aberdeen 63209 has transferred to Caledonia. Out today on the 34 service
Street lite, should be put straight into the river! What type of bus is that?
2 other buses have also transferred. Wonder what the reason is?Aberdeen 63209 has transferred to Caledonia. Out today on the 34 service
Aberdeen are losing all their Streetlites. It is probably an age related thing, as these were Aberdeen's newest diesel buses.2 other buses have also transferred. Wonder what the reason is?
The tables have well and truly turned. Now we’re getting Aberdeen’s hand me downs!Aberdeen are losing all their Streetlites. It is probably an age related thing, as these were Aberdeen's newest diesel buses.
Probably part of the wider standardisation policy within FirstGroup, too - they've been trying to reduce the number of different types at depots/divisions for a while now, and it's clear that the Enviro 300 will suit the needs of single-deck work at Aberdeen now.Aberdeen are losing all their Streetlites. SN14 EDF 63195 and SN14 FET 63218 is the other 2 Streetlites that came down over the weekend and are both sat in Overtown depot2 other buses have also transferred. Wonder what the reason is?
Both out on 240 today.SN14 EDF 63195 and SN14 FET 63218 is the other 2 Streetlites that came down over the weekend and are both sat in Overtown depot
It’s probably 44456 then. Already mentioned it a few days ago.YX09AFO/N 44905/6
Remember these were on the 29/129 to Mansewood (when First had it) and other routes of a similar status
These are shorter than the "newer" YX09xxx
44455 was on the 34 today, freshly painted, another one of this type was on the 34 as well
I feel these are a bit of a come down from the usual electric buses and even the "Bradford" buses on the 34
So are they going to be replacing the Long-Term-Loan Streetlites then?Aberdeen are losing all their Streetlites. It is probably an age related thing, as these were Aberdeen's newest diesel buses.
That one’s based at Caley. I think it replaced 47621 (which is back at Dumbarton again).Caught SN14 FEH on the 19 today.
I think the Streetlites that came up in January are staying, just like the Eclipses. But once all the Aberdeen ones have arrived, plus the last E400 and whatever E300s they have on loan just now, there probably will no longer be a shortage. So are they going to be replacing the Long-Term-Loan Streetlites then?
I have a feeling Aberdeen will be getting a bunch of Glasgow E300s now.I think the Streetlites that came up in January are staying, just like the Eclipses. Caley doesn't typically run Streetlites out of their depot, so the most likely course of action is for them to get some of Overtown's MMCs instead. Although, E300s might start becoming a standard model on Caley services too, given how many they've been using temporarily as of late. They could pinch some of those from Blantyre.
Whether it happens, it is supposed to be 62 plates, but it may be the several that have been loaned in recent months will stay.I have a feeling Aberdeen will be getting a bunch of Glasgow E300s now.

Also, what’s happening with the rest of the former Midland Bluebird buses that were bought back?
63272 was out for like two days back in January, unlike 47449, which has been out an about for ages now. And also, any updates on 47448 and
also 33917 is out of CalyI have a feeling Aberdeen will be getting a bunch of Glasgow E300s now.
Also, I noticed that a lot of Scotstoun’s Gemini buses are being sent over to Caledonia probably because of the E400s coming back. But strange thing is, 33913 is at Caledonia at the moment too.
