Yes.

69077/079 stying at Caledonia
69083/084/087/096 training fleet
69099 to Dumbarton to replace a VOR B7RLE there
69101 to Scotstoun to replace a VOR B7RLE there
all 9 branded B7RLE upwards from 102 except 111 are moving to Scotland East to replace ALL Solars
Does VOR mean “Vehicle on Reserve”?

I have just heard that 69295 (SF04 HXW) has been withdrawn from service. Still, its 3 Hutchison brethren (69296-98) still continue to provide service for now.

I believe that 69099 replaced it, as 69295 was the reserve Eclipse at the depot.

I see that the bus times website fleet list has been updated
69295 removed from it
The 9 branded B7RLE that are moving elsewhere been removed
69110, the Aberdeen registered one has also been removed

I feel a bit for users of the 266 in particular with these driver shortages. 27 journeys missing towards Newmains/Shotts tomorrow and 26 the other way. It also doesn't help people that the last 3 to Shotts are all missing.

I've already been undone by it on the 2 as well in the morning twice in a row. My normal one today didn't show and yesterday 2 before mines didn't show at all. Any sign of timetable changes as it's definitely needed at this point.

Bear in mind anyone can edit that list

Does anybody know if the 46 still inter works with the 19?. I know they did a few years ago.
The reason why I ask is because of the above post which suggests that the 46 may be getting the new E200 electrics. Whilst single deckers may provide sufficient capacity on the 46 they definitely do not on the 19 (especially at peak times). So if the plan is give the 46 the new electric singles I hope they phase out any interworking with the 19 as having single deckers exclusively on that route would be pandemonium. even the B7/B9 Geminis (the most common vehicle type on that route) are full and standing on many journeys between 4 and 7pm.

They’ve not interworked and as said before the new singles are for the 9 with the few spares being for the 46/64/65 but theres only a few spare so those will still have mostly B7RLEs and normal E200 MMCs.

Also if interworking still did happen there would be no difference as these only have 3 or 4 seats less than a B7RLE

Down in Clydebank bus station this morning where I witnessed one of the new electric buses being unceremoniously winched onto the back of an M8 recovery trailer. Unfortunately I was driving so didn't manage to get a pic.

I wonder what it was doing in Clydebank!

Same thing struck me at the time. I take it that the need to put it on a trailer rather than a suspended tow is something to do with the fact that it's an electric but maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can advise on that.
there was one on the 60 the other day

Are First trialling a smartcard service of some sort? My 2 was an E300 with a scanner attached to the pole closest to the door as well as the normal ticketer machine used by the driver.

They have that in Aberdeen and Southampton. In Southampton they are up against Bluestar. Bluestar have a £1 flat rate fare after 6pm.

I noticed there are diesels still on the 9A in the morning, so I'm assuming there is a shortage of electrics.

The readers are for tap on tap off, which is different from the flat fare tap and cap in Aberdeen and Southampton.

67020 and the other pink/purple front 68 plate buses have been on the 9 since this week along with the electrics
The electric buses have been on the 65 since this week along with the usual pink/ purple 65 branded buses
The 65 branded buses have also been on the 31 every day this week

Not a shortage no it’s just the boards the diesels are on cannot be run by the electrics due to the mileage they cover. This will be rectified in the next service change.

Any date for a service change yet?

No it’s delayed due to ongoing driver dispute.
No problem. Thanks for the info.

I've found it quite interesting that on the website they've split the timetable for the 6/6A into individual ones for each route.

I'd love to see it happen for others to be honest. The one group timetable and 38s in particular should be split a bit so it's easier to read them.

Even a 1/1A/1B then 1C/1D split and a 38/38A then 38B/38C/38E split would be far easier to read.

No doubt when they arrive the E400EVs will become a regular. Till then the single deck variety will need to do. Although the 60 is a mixture of single and double decks for now.

Would think the 2s and maybe even 1s could also be in the equation. More double decks mean less single decks. With a revised timetable less of those scarce drivers and less vehicles on the road.
