I'll laugh if those Enviro400's eventually end up with First Glasgow.

He says in his post the Enviro 400s are moving to Go Ahead at Queen's Road so it's very doubtfull that they'll ever end up at FiG...

Ahh yes, i keep forgetting what's happening with what depots in Manchester. However my comment was more light hearted than anything.

Just to add to this mic, Queens Road have also got 33841/44 from Bolton and 33848/51/53 from Oldham, Versa Yellow School buses 49230 from Oldham and 49231 from Bolton. they replace 49213/20 which have gone to Bolton and Oldham although I don't know which has gone where.
Optare Solo Hybrid 59002-08 are in reserve. Optare Solo 53065 is off fleet at Queens - it may have moved to Oldham?
In addition to Volvo B7RLE 66865 mentioned in your message 66846/64/72/73/80/92 and Volvo B9TL 37444/46/48/49 have also moved, probably to Oldham.
As can be seen from above the problem is not knowing what has moved to Queens but what has moved to Bolton/Oldham.
At the moment the fleet at Queens is 177 against a pvr of 145 and a Go North West authorisation of 165. Discounting the like for like swaps more vehicles should move out of Queens than in.

33844 was at Bolton not Oldham with regards to 53065 i think it might be off fleet all together as Oldhams solos might be aswell as they lost 2 tender contracts that used them i will be in oldham on Saturday so can report more then 66873 never left Oldham 59006 never seen since those services changed

Ha! So it, 33844, was. I should know better. I agree with you about the Solo's. 53146 is already out of MOT and I suspect that's the end of it.

What do you think he will end up doing?

I would imagine that these were what caught the OP's eye

"During that time Ryan played an integral role in the transformation of Taylor Wimpey’s financial profile, which included the sale of its North American assets, improving the balance sheet to investment grade and restructuring its pension liabilities."

Perhaps importantly, he was instrumental in getting a business that almost went under in 2008 (and a business that lost 98% of its market capitalisation) to robust health.

What that actually translates to in practical steps with the board of directors, we will have to see.

What “sounds like something big would have to be sold off”?

Ryan didn't turn Wimpey around with a magic wand.

All three of those things are clearly linked, he got a major cash boost from it, of $955m (£593m)

Just because he sold part of Taylor Wimpey doesn't automatically mean he's going to sell part of First Bus.... Building houses and operating buses/trains are two completley different and unrelated things.

First has a pension fund deficit of around £430M, that was reported in November, there is no money for major investment let alone share dividend. Something will have to give unless First can double profits everywhere?
