Uni E400's 33422 & 33421 plus Uni E400MMC 33471 all in convoy out of service at Pool near Camborne at 0825hrs. Trident 33142 at Penryn on a Truro bound U1 service.

Trident 32761 taken off a U2 service at Falmouth Moor this morning with a faulty door and a wet upper deck with severe condensation dripping off the windows & ceiling onto the seats. Replaced by 33113 off a U3 service.

I have just travelled from Falmouth to Camborne and in one of the engineering bays at Camborne depot on my return was one of the new Solos. It’s a green one registered WK68 BSO with no fleet number visible.

A second one subsequently noted is WK68 BTE which wears Atlantic Coaster colours.

No mention of that Whiteway apart from the comment some time ago that 42942 is due to go to Somerset. The Solo are of the same age as those they already have but they may be in a better condition although postings on this page would suggest not! A case of wait and see I'm afraid.

I definitely know that 42942 is going to Somerset (seen on a comment on the behind the scenes page).

As said by TGW, it was previously mentioned that 53402-4 were originally going to go to Somerset, though the transfer was changed for other vehicles (seen on the old enthusiasts website).

42871-6 are going for sales/scrap, so those won't be going anywhere except off-fleet.

43810 & 78 may have a chance of going to somerset, as I saw a photo of 43823 in Winkleigh without a private license plate, the others may follow, but as @Blackpudding said it's another game of wait & see.

Darts 42942, 43810 & 43878 operating around St Austell area this weekend (subject to weather conditions!). Solos are in the Camborne area.

I see there are only three Atlantic Coaster liveried new Solos, rather than the previously reported five. The other two are in fleet green.

Just wondering if with the renewal of the RailAir coaches at Reading, whether some of the displaced coaches (especially the Volvo B9R's) might head this way to replace the older Scania's either in Kernow or Buses of Somerset.

Two B9Rs (20810/1) have turned up at Bridgwater.

Stated by Marc Huws that the reduction in AC liveried buses is due to the identified need to retain two double decks on the A17 for schools loadings. The two extra green ones will be based at Helston.
