Not sure the answer, but people don't.Genuine question as I'll be down in the Duchy soon....
Are face masks required in the open section of open toppers?
When I was out and about on the open toppers I wore a mask out of habit - and to keep warm! But I didn't mind that others weren't. Being outside with a brisk airflow really is about as low risk as it gets. Not sure the answer, but people don't.
It's technically outside.
The other two you mentioned were most recently with Wheelers on different registrations. My source at the psv circle is unsure if the registration changes signify a ownership change but he said nothing reported through the psv circleProbably my mistake then, should have gone to specsavers!
Rail replacement sightings today:-
Visting buses were 33794, 33947, 37345, 35114, 37182, 37315, 37607, 37316 & 33722.
Kernow fleet:- 53503, 53860, 33460, 53256, 53504 and 53801.
I think an Atlantic Coaster has gone up to Newquay Airport tonight to pick up Joe as his helicopter can't fly due to fog. I wonder if he has a bus pass?
How much is a single Newquay to Carbis Bay if he hasn't?
No that's a picture worth having of a US president actually using a bus...albeit a private one!! Arriving by open topper would have given his entry more pazazz!Probably my mistake then, should have gone to specsavers!

After Dallas 1963, US presidents have generally eschewed open top vehiclesNo that's a picture worth having of a US president actually using a bus...albeit a private one!! Arriving by open topper would have given his entry more pazazz!
Required, yes.Genuine question as I'll be down in the Duchy soon....

No they’re not. SPSInterestingly a couple of First Norwich Streetdecks 35196 and 35198 are apparently heading to Cornwall on loan.
It should have arrived in Cornwall yesterday.Just noticed on Twitter an image of the second Lizard open top Trident (33036 LK51 UYE) on an Ensign recovery truck entering Lawrence Hill depot: https://twitter.com/bainoalex/status/1402219392663011330?s=21
Still got to fix the first one that managed a whole morning in service before expiring.Interestingly a couple of First Norwich Streetdecks 35196 and 35198 are apparently heading to Cornwall on loan.
Very interesting!Noticed on Truro College website provisional details of Truro and Penwith College bus network from September https://www.truro-penwith.ac.uk/how-we-support-you/transport

I've noticed it states the L3 is 2 hourly? Wonder if that means they're halving the service now?!Noticed on Truro College website provisional details of Truro and Penwith College bus network from September https://www.truro-penwith.ac.uk/how-we-support-you/transport

I'd suggest that the L3 service now is just for the summer. Then when the new college term comes, it steps down to two hourly as the all year round service. The L1 has just a few trips so that probably answers the question as to whether the 34 tender will continue to operate...I've noticed it states the L3 is 2 hourly? Some of the tourist have said they choice not to go on the L1 becuase they need to get to Ruen from the Lizard.I'd suggest that the L3 service now is just for the summer. Quite a few interesting developments
You are right. Saw 65724 exiting Barncoose roundabout heading east somewhere yesterday, repainted in dark blue I think.Scania 65724 was in Camborne for attention as of yesterday. Both were reported as repainted.
I just don't understand the reasoning.I see the L1 is all closed top today. Pity on such a lovely day, especially as there must of loads of open toppers sitting around unused due to the G7 service alterations.
It’s actually really simple. Every available driver is driving today and has been for some time. While we may have some routes curtailed or suspended for G7 we have considerable staff working on G7 additional work.Just don't understand the reasoning??
I'd have thought that was obvious.Just don't understand the reasoning??

Until colleges break on 2 July we don’t have staff available to move vehicles across Cornwall and back for a few days.
Mousehole is already a service under Kernow, from Penzance to the village Mousehole. It’s operated by three ‘baby’ Solos and the brand has been around for a couple of yearsOn the First Bus app under the Adventures by Bus region, I’ve noticed two brands which are yet to be introduced, Surf’s up and Mousehole. I presume Surf’s up will be the brand for the S1/2/3
But it wasn't on the initial list of Adventures by Bus routes.Mousehole is already a service under Kernow, from Penzance to the village Mousehole. It’s operated by three ‘baby’ Solos and the brand has been around for a couple of years
