There used to be a Mousehole roster, but now all merged into 'all other' duties I believe.
And outside the Land's End Coaster peak period there can't be that many drivers at Penzance employed on non-college work so you're bound to see the same drivers turn up regularly on The Mousehole especially as it's FSW's most frequent local service (I think?).

I've noticed with the recent changes that a Yeovil based vehicle starts at 07:30 then runs to Wells on the 77 (the past 2 days being 33508) and then runs the 55 to Taunton then goes on the 54 to Somerton all day then goes back to Yeovil on a 54.
All BOS vehicles are now "common user" just going to Taunton or Bridgwater for maintenance.
For example the vehicle that does the 0700 54 Yeovil-Taunton ends up overnight in Bridgwater.

Does anyone know what buses are at the Royal Cornwall Show? I believe one of the Lizard open top Tridents is there along with Solo T14 GWR.

The Solo is one of the vehicles on the operating contracts.

What services run from Bodmin outstation, are there any public routes or just colleges and schools etc?

Also is Falmouth outstation just U1/U1A & FALM?

Falmouth is U1, U1A, U1X, U2, 660, Falmouth Coaster, and definitely one school contact, and they now also have one T1/T2 duty

Also the U3 when it returns in September

Open top Volvo B9TL 37792 sighted in Camborne today and 37791 also present for a few days. Just 37793 unaccounted for I believe. Mousehole Solo's 53709 & 53826 here also.

All are here somewhere now I believe. I moved the last one from Truro to Camborne a day or two ago.

My first visit to Truro for several weeks following a hospital appointment. Saw two Tridents on the T2 and a green MMC on the T1. Being from West Cornwall, I paid special attention to how the Ts 1 and 2 were operating, and I have to say I was disappointed. Now there is a 15 minute interval, rather than the previous 10 minute one, between Truro and Camborne, to see two buses (one on the T2, the following one on the T1) nose to tail, as I did on three occasions, only the once towards the Bus Station, doesn't fill me with confidence. It suggests there have been almost 30 minute intervals in the actual service. As it happens, the 16.40ish departures from Victoria Square were come across again by me up at Truro College, where the T1 was once again letting the T2 take all the passengers and was obviously not prepared to overtake it. As it happens, what were probably the next pair of buses westbound had passed me eastbound at County Arms, with the T1 chaser hanging back too. Yes, I realise that different routeings after St Erth can help to cause such things, but all in all it reminded me of my London days of long ago when such practices were endemic. Those 16.40 buses would have left the bus station within a minute or two of each other: the traffic was very light. Maybe it can all be justified, I'm not naive, but it doesn't look good.

There looks to be a severe driver shortage today with about half a dozen tweets having been sent out with a load of cancellations

Worst hit seems to be Penzance and particularly the LAND with the clockwise direction entirely cancelled except for between 1230-1430 and various anti clockwise trips being cancelled as well. Not great for a Saturday at the start of June

Last Sunday the entire Atlantic Coaster service was cancelled all day.

Yesterday there were eight round trips cancelled on the LAND.

The RMT is currently balloting for strike action over pay so maybe there's a bit of a reluctance to do overtime or rest days.

After about a week from the service changes at Buses of Somerset last weekend I believe this is probably the position regarding vehicles taken out of service.
33381 42558/59/62/63 42953 65759/64 all show Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN) on the DVLA website.
32599/601/602 also shown as SORN so will most likely not be coming to BOS
32598 not sure what’s happening but was reported at Taunton depot.
42966 was reported withdrawn 10 June.

Any comments most welcome.

42969 might be as well as it’s currently with this dealer, apparently. Not sure if that’s accurate though.
